Hi all,

Unfortunately, I’m going to cancel this Sunday’s long run (February 8). An extreme cold advisory has been issued for the weekend, with temperatures around 13°F that morning at 9am.

Fingers crossed this Arctic hellscape eases up soon and we can get back to running paved paths in above-freezing temperatures. Stay warm!

Hi Friends,

It’s my turn again to lead the Sunday Long Run! It’s looking a little chilly, so be sure to wear layers. In the meantime, I will be doing sun dances and salutations in the hopes for better weather.

Hi All,

We’re going to be cancelling this week’s Sunday long run (12/14). I will instead be assisting with the swimming clinic that day. But we will start up again in January after the New Years! Stay warm until then.

We had such beautiful weather last weekend for our Sunday Long Run! Unfortunately, it looks it may be a little wet this Sunday 🙁 However, I’ll be out there, rain or shine, because I paid a lot of money for a marathon entry and a training plan 😅

Thanks to Julia for hosting last week’s run! For Oct. 5, we will meet at Dupont Circle at 8am, then make our way to Rock Creek Park and head north for an out and back run. Hi All,

Lauren and I were planning to sub in for Anne Ellyse for tonight’s 6 PM ride at Hains Point, but due to the forecasted thunderstorms and flooding from all the rain, we’ve decided to cancel the ride for safety reasons.

Hope to see everyone next week—or at one of the weekend rides!
