Germantown BrickNic

  • Time: Clip-in at 7AM or 8:30AM depending on ride length.

  • Event Details:
    • For the Bike:
      • Clip-in times are 7am and 8:30am
      • Bike Course Routes (don't forget to print your cue sheets)
    • For the ‘Nic:
      • The 'Nic will start around 11:30 AM. Lots of tasty treats (burgers, dogs, veggie burgers, fixings) will all be provided by the club, along with some fabulous volunteers to cook it all up. The rest (sides, desserts, etc.) is up to you!
      • Please help out by bringing something according to your last name:
        • Aa-Bu: Dessert
        • By-Du: Side dish (chips ok)
        • Dv-Ha: Dessert
        • He-La: Vegetarian option - side dish
        • Le-Mo: Fruit
        • Mr-Ri: Drinks (gatorade, juice, etc)
        • Rm-St: Side dish (no chips)
        • Su-Zy: Veggie side
  • Volunteer: Volunteers help make events like these possible! If you're available to volunteer for the Columbia Brick-nic, please email training@dctriclub.org. We need gear watchers, a grill master and others!

Fall Bricknic

Come out, do some biking, a little running, some kayaking/SUPing and a whole lot of fun socializing with other DC Tri Club members and their families.

  • Date: Saturday, September 21
  • Time:  7:30am bike clip-in/9am ish picnic/boat rentals
  • Where: Thompson Boat Center - 2900 Virginia Ave NW Washington, DC
  • Registration: 
  • Event Details: 
    • For the Bike:
      • Ride Clip-in at 7:30 am - Gear watch will begin at 7 am. The Saturday weekly training ride will roll through by the parking area. Follow the normal Saturday ride route and do whatever distance you desire. For details on the route, visit the Sat weekly ride forum thread on the club website. Alternatively, for those that want a more casual ride, the suggested route is the Capitol Cresent/Beach Dr/Rock Creek Trail loop. SAG will not be provided.
    • For the Run:
      • Feel free to run right after the ride, instead of the ride, or anytime you wish. The run will be an out-and-back of your desired distance on the Capital Crescent Trail (paved) or the C&O Towpath (unpaved).
    • For the 'Nic/SUP:
      • The Club will provide the main course. Please help out by bringing something according to your last name:
