The Club Wants YOU! 🏊 🚴 🏃
The DC Tri Club is looking for four new Board members for 2027–2028—and don’t forget – 2027 is our 25th Club-a-versary! 🎉
You don’t need to be the fastest person in the club or have years of leadership experience to serve on the Board of the DC Tri Club. We want a Board that reflects the diversity of our club and the DMV area: different ages, backgrounds, abilities, paces, goals, and ways of experiencing triathlon. If you care about DC Tri, have ideas on how to improve the club, and want to play an active role in making the club better, we want to hear from you!
The role descriptions below are guides, not checklists—please don’t be intimidated! You don’t need to know how to do everything listed. We’re looking for people who are interested, engaged, willing to learn, and excited to contribute. You won’t be doing it alone!
Open Positions:
(1) Director of Membership – description
(2) Director of Community & Belonging – description
(3) Director of Volunteer Operations – description
(4) Director of Racing – description
The term is January 2027–December 2028 (2 years). Board members are expected to attend monthly Board meetings, an annual retreat, and dedicate approximately 2–5 hours/week on Club duties.
New board members will be announced at our Annual Meeting on December 6, 2026.
