It’s Rock ‘n Roll DC time!

If you aren’t running, we’d love to have more volunteers at our aid station in Rock Creek Park just north of P St. The shift is from 7 – 11:30 AM. Start times: 5 k – 7.45 am, Half – 8 am

The Waterman’s Triathlons are nestled on the edge of the Eastern Shore of Maryland in picturesque Rock Hall, MD. Just 18 miles from Baltimore “as the fish swims” (put your bike rack on a boat!). The time trial swim takes place in Rock Hall Harbor on the Chesapeake Bay, protecting athletes from any serious wind or chop. The bike course is a triathlete’s dream with beautiful ribbons of pavement and wide shoulders throughout most of the rural course. The run course is flat and takes athletes through the quaint nautically themed neighborhoods and side roads of Rock Hall.

The Kinetic Pleasants Landing time trial swim takes place in the southeast portion of Lake Anna, about 1/4 mile from where the “hot side” of Lake Anna empties into the cold side, resulting in water temperatures that are 4-6 degree’s warmer than the rest of the lake at this time of year. The Olympic starts at 9AM and the Sprint starts at 9:30AM. The race site and finish line are surrounded by water and have a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the West.

The Kinetic Marsh Creek Sprint Triathlon is staged out of Marsh Creek State Park, just west of Philadelphia, PA and minutes from the Turnpike. The time trial swim takes place in 500 acre Marsh Creek Lake and features a single loop, rectangular shaped swim course. The bike course is a well paved, single loop 20k course that takes athletes through a mix of technical sections and long straightaways alongside trout streams and forests. The 5k run course is entirely within the park and has lake views and a good uphill at mile 2.

The US Performance Center Draft Legal Triathlon Festival is a day of collegiate and elite development draft legal triathlon racing featuring both a National Triathlon Development Race (NTDR) but also the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon East National Qualifier. Presented by the Charlotte, NC based US Performance Center and staged out of Lake Norman State Park, this draft legal triathlon features clear water, rolling courses and great racing. The swim start features a sandy beach start and a crisp, clear lake. The bike and run courses are rolling and stay completely inside the park. Each lap of the bike and run courses bring athletes through the race site.

National Triathlon Development Race:

  • 750 Meter Swim (Lake); 20K Bike (Rolling Hills); 5K Run (Rolling Hills)

This race is NOT part of the Kinetic Multisports Series Scoring.

Please note The DI, DII, DII draft legal races are for Collegiate athletes only! The National Triathlon Development Race (NDTR) is open to high school/collegiate & elite athletes only!
