Victoria Anderson PROGRAM MANAGER

After several years of training for Ironman and Half Ironman races, Victoria spent the majority of last season targeting the Olympic and Sprint races at 2014 Age Group Nationals and realized that short course racing is where it’s at – you can race more often, there are no seven hour bricks, and it’s fun to run a fast 10k off the bike instead of a painful, shuffling marathon!

While she came to the sport as a life-long swimmer, she has managed to train herself into somewhat of a balanced triathlete since starting in the sport in 2011 and she loves the challenge that swimming, biking, and running each represent – especially when you get to go all out in a fun short course race.

As the program lead for the Olympic Distance Training Program, Victoria is looking forward to helping all ODP athletes cultivate their love for short course racing by making sure they have all of the resources and training opportunities they need to race fast in 2015!
