A. I can fall asleep instantly anywhere, it’s been known to happen mid-conversation.
B. I am a surprisingly good dancer, which I attribute to the good old days when I raved.

2) What do you think about when you’re swimming so many yards? (Big breath, push off) Here we go…tight streamline…breathe…good extension…don’t drop your elbow…strong pull, high elbow…good rotation…1, 2, 3, 4…breathe…okay, here comes the wall…do I need to take another stroke…ah, nope I didn’t…flip, flip, flip!…phew, didn’t hit my foot on the pool deck…why do I always close my eyes when I flip turn…what does the clock say…okay, on pace…good extension…stop dropping your left hand…I should breathe now…what distance is this interval…what lap am I on…1, 2, 3, breathe…kick…doo do doo, this is fun…what should I eat for dinner…good extension/rotation…breathe..
.here comes the wall again…one more breath…don’t peak…oh god, don’t kick the wall…and so on.

5) What is the biggest mistake you’ve made in a triathlon? Geez, so many to choose from.
A. I had to do a deck change in T1 of my first triathlon because I didn’t have any clothes on under my wetsuit.
B. I didn’t carry a spare tube at Buffalo Springs 70.3 and got a flat.
C. I had too many drinks the night before CapTex in 2005(?) and almost missed the elite wave start because my stomach was upset.
D. I was head down and rode into a cone on the bike course of a race back in 2005 or so (the Katy triathlon maybe?), crashed, flatted, blew up my spare tube, then ran the last 2 miles of the bike leg and got into an argument with my girlfriend in T2 because she wanted to know why I was bleeding and I didn’t want to stop and talk about it.
Bonus: Laurel or Yanny? I have no idea what this means, but let’s go with Laurel.
