Thank you all so much for the feedback. I’ve got more homework to do on a trainer but I’m much closer now with everyone’s help. I’m also scheduled for a bike fitting with Smiley on 3/2 so will wait until then to figure out which aero bars are right for me.

I’m with you Brittany. I read the athlete’s guide but it’s not the most intuitive app to use. I’ve been fumbling with it for a couple of weeks and have started to figure it out. I think it’s really just trial and error.
I too made a rookie mistake thinking that I had plenty of time to pull the trigger and register for Eagleman. I guess Ohio here I come.
I have been using the Garmin 935 for a year and absolutely love it. While it was a little pricey it’s easy to use and the Garmin Connect iOS app is really helpful/useful as well. When I train I use the Garmin and the rest of the day I wear an Apple Watch. Both easily connect to MyFitnessPal to log my exercise for the day. When I run and bike I do use a Garmin HR strap as I found the HR monitor on the watch to be unreliable.
