Will there be another bike maintenance clinic? I wasn’t able to go to the 1st one and haven’t seen the second one mentioned in the newsletter.

We meet at Meadowbrook Park parking (7901 Meadowbrook Lane, Chevy Chase, MD 20815)

Because it’s in the morning we need to head out at 7:00 sharp.

Good to know. I felt like the cleat on my left shoe was harder to clip.

I have a question about the bike maintenance clinic. Will there be a second one? It coincides with the Saturday swim classes.

Hey!

I’ve been doing a little homework comparing brands/models/groupsets.

From our first bike clinic I concluded thAt the following things are ideal to look for in a bike:

-alloy w/ carbon fork

-11 speeds

-never clairis, maybe sora, ideally tiagra or 105 in shimano

-11-28 or higher crank sets

I think this leads to bikes with shimano 105 parts.

Currently comparing:

-Liv Avail SL 1 (105)

– Cannondale Synapse (105)

– trek lexa (sora)

Any other recommendations?

Is it worth thr price difference to go 105?
