Thank you for your feedback!  Yes, you should not race if you are not feeling 100%.  It will only compromise your system further.  For now, it sounds like you need to get as much sleep as possible and gradually ease back into training.  Since you missed volume, you are better off focusing on getting in the distances and some race specific workouts versus adding in races.  Then you can race further after your HIM.
