I’d really like to emphasize Coach AJ’s point on matching up intensity of workouts and sticking to your training plan.  Be extra cautious and avoid substituting an easy ride with a higher intensity spin class — you can really dig yourself into a cycle of getting worn out on an easy day… then having a really hard time finishing your next harder day… then feeling like you didn’t work hard enough on the hard day, so you work extra hard on an easy day… etc.
