Nice lessons learned from your practice race too. Transition is free speed so the more organized you can be, the better. It sounds like you found the right balance of pushing the bike (but not overpushing) so you could get off for a strong, negative split run. Incredible pacing!
Keep working on your running cadence and nutrition. The hardest part is knowing that you need to focus on these areas and how to do so. One of the benefits of a training weekend like Peasantman!
