Yes, your LT would be 168. So the hope of this workout was to practice pacing near your threshold. Can you maintain it? Do you need to build up to it? Can you still push hard (zone 5) for the sprint to the finish? Do you start out too fast and then fade? Does your form fall apart when you are pushing this hard?
The hope is that after completing a practice 10k, you will have a better idea of what your pacing strategy should be for your upcoming race. Sounds like you were doing it right!
