Thanks, Coach AJ! A question for Peasantman weekend: how hard should we be training on Saturday, and how hard should we race on Sunday?
Our TP plan has a heavy 2hr ride on Saturday, May 4 + a 30 min brick. If we do the group ride on Saturday, should we do the TP workout? Should we “race” at a lower intensity for Sunday’s race so that we don’t overdo it? Based on how we feel, should we take Monday off?
I’d welcome some feedback on best practices for including a training race during a training plan!
