My biking LT was 4 beats higher than running LT: 153 and 149 respectively
The Joel Friel LT was four points lower than the Garmin watch test I did last year (149 vs. 153)
My Joel Friel results could be affected by the fact that it’s the first time I’ve done these tests.
My run cadence was in the high range during both the 10 & 20 minute fast segments: 186 (at a 7:38 min/mile pace) and 190 (at a 7:10 min/mile pace) respectively. These segments were run on an outdoor track. By contrast, I have a terrible time keeping a faster cadence at slow speeds on irregular terrain
