Any idea on if/when the team shop will be restocked? I wanted to get a team tri suit for the new season 🙂

You could try finding a pool that uses Bromine instead of Chlorine and see if that helps. I don’t know any off the top of my head that use it though, so you’ll have to do a little research. Hope that helps and hope you feel better!!

Me and a couple other people in the NoVa are working on getting a meetup going on Mondays @ 8:30PM. I’m going to be running it so you’ll need to add me on Zwift for me to add you to the meetup. My Zwift name is: Brian O’D.

Hi Joseph! I’d be down to Zwift on Saturdays. I don’t normally but we could get something going. I’ll add you on Zwift

<div class=”h5 topless”>would anyone be interested in setting up a weekly Zwift meetup? I figure its a better way to ride together instead of braving the elements</div>

Yup I drive there too after I get off work since I don’t live close to the trail. I usually park in Sherlington at the Barcroft Community Center in Barcroft Park (4200 S Four Mile Run Dr, Arlington, VA 22206). They have a parking deck so I just leave my car in there, and then the trail is on the other side of Four Mile Run Dr. There’s a cross walk…[Read more]

Hi Thianny!
There’s always the Washington-Old Dominion trail that goes from Arlington to Purcellville (around 40 miles long). Its a well maintained trail that’s just for bikers/runner/walkers. Paved the whole way. You could either drive there and start from the trail head, or there are ways to navigate there from DC to the trail. But if you’re…[Read more]

hi all! for those of you that have done the General Smallwood Tri, I had a question about the swim leg. On the site, it says that the swim is in a shallow bay. How shallow are we talking? I ask because I did the Quantico Tri last year and the swim was so shallow that people ran a good portion of it. Needless to say I want to avoid having a repeat…[Read more]

Hi all! My name is Brian and I just joined the club. I’m 30 and just doing tri’s to stay in shape. I’m currently looking at doing the Smith Mountain Lake Sprint in May and the General Smallwood Sprint in June. I decided to join the club to make some triathlon friends, find a training buddy or 2, and drink a few beers along the way.
Currently I’ve…[Read more]
