With the Hains Pt. pool closed for another year, another OWS opportunity, from L4, which has put on DC Tri swim events in the past–

“Planned summer practices at our Old Keene Mill outdoor 50 meter pool location in Burke, Virginia, which opens this weekend.  By separate email, I will announce our summer schedules at other L4 practice locations.

These practices begin this Sunday, May 27 and will continue through at least Labor Day weekend.  Here is our schedule:

Sunday – 8-930 am with Coach Fred Zamon

    Mon, Wed, Fri – 530 – <span class=”aBn” tabindex=”0″ data-term=”goog_1389635606″><span class=”aQJ”>7 am</span></span> with Coach Eric Sorensen, except Memorial Day Monday is from 7 – 830 am

Tues, Thurs – 6 – 730 am with Coach Fred Zamon

We may also have several Saturday morning practices, as well as several long distance training practices; these will be announced approximately two weeks in advance.

LOCATION:  Old Keene Mill Swim and Racket Club, 9434 Orion Ct., Burke VA.

ELIGIBILITY –  Attendance at these practices requires current USMS registration and either an L4 Quarterly Pass or a punchpass.  USMS Members who are not year-round L4 quarterly or punchpass members may purchase a summer-only pass ($210) or a ten workout punchpass ($90) by contacting L4 Registrar Lindsay.Viellieu@gmail.com

WATER TEMPERATURE – The pool temperature is never too cold to work out.  Should the water get too warm later this summer, OKM may authorize L4 to use our water cannon to cool the pool, as we have done for the past two years.

SWIMMING GEAR – Bring your fins, paddles, snorkels and other gear to workout, as Coaches Eric and Fred will occasionally have you use this gear.

OK, I hope to see many of you at our outdoor practices at OKM this summer!

    Frank Marcinkowski

    Head Coach L4S; 703-582-0429 ”
