    Hey DCTri Club!

Just a heads up that there will be a price increase on Monday 4/2 for Rev3 Williamsburg (Sprint & Kids races on July 7th and Half and Oly races on July 8th) so sign up ASAP!  If you hate commitment, worry not, since they have a great transfer and deferral policy.  http://rev3tri.com/williamsburg/

Also kinda cool that Williamsburg is the USAT Mideast Aquabike and Long Course Regional Championship this year.

And make sure to get Saturday June 16th on your calendar because there’s going to be a Rev3 Williamsburg practice ride.

AAAAND, to start your season off, check out Rev3 Westfields Sprint on May 6th.  That race is also having a price increase on Monday.  There are options for relay, aquabike and kids splash and dash so it is definitely newbie and family friendly.  http://rev3tri.com/westfields

I’ve done both races a bunch of times and am a Rev3 ambassador, so let me know if you have any questions!

*On the DCTri site, don’t forget to click on “Races” and mark the races you’re attending.

Great info.  I’m registered and in for this year and interested in getting together with other club members to share accommodations in Williamsburg. Last year I stayed in a HUGE place at the Powhatan Inn all by myself–total waste.  Is there any plan or resource to enable DCTri member going to REV3 to coordinate on the accommodations in Williamsburg?

Hi Glen!  I stayed at the Powhatan last year as well and was so surprised at how HUGE and convenient it was!  (Our town house even had an empty sunroom for our cherished bikes!)  I’d recommend you post on the DCTri site and on the Rev3 Williamsburg facebook page that you’re open to sharing lodging and I bet you’d get a lot of takers.  Let me know if you have any other ideas or if there’s anything else I can do.

Also, a lot of athletes REALLY like camping for that race.  The campsite is RIGHT on the race site, so you can practically roll out of your sleeping bag and into the swim.  There’s some more info here, but let me know if you have any questions.  http://www.jamescitycountyva.gov/2769/Camping

Hey I have a Reservation Confirmation for The Historic Powhatan Resort–2 bed/2 bath for the night of 7/7.  Let me know if you’re interested in sharing these accommodations
