I was there last saturday for 7:30 Georgetown (my first ride) and will be there tomorrow morning as well. There was a good group last weekend that did variable distances. Unless anything changed or specific to tomorrow, I assume the ride is happening.

There was a timing mat around 3.4 mile on the olympic run course

I did the olympic on saturday. My Garmin showed 5.9, uploaded the same GPX file to strava and strava showed 6.2. the actual course I believe was 6.2 and parts of it were in trails so I believe the trees could have blocked the GPS pretty significantly.

Last time I transported the bike in my minivan, I think it messed up the rear derailleur and the bike is not shifting very well. What is the best way to transport a bike inside a van/suv? I have a bike rack but I thought it was best to transport it inside especially with all the space inside a van/suv.

In the last newsletter you had mentioned that this week’s ows practice swim could be postponed due to colder water temperature.

I checked the water temperature at the below link
