I have noticed some of these protein powders mix well and some are clumpy. They vary in protein and sugar levels as well. Does anyone have a preferred brand/type? What do I look for in a protein powder if I don’t want a clumpy drink?

I discovered that hydrolized means less clumpy when mixing.

I like Levels brand Grass-Fed Whey Protein.  My training sage, Phil Maffetone, eschews isolated, hydrolyzed, and caseinated powders.  I like it because it has few ingredients other than BCAAs, and minimal carbs so that I can focus on my aerobic system.  Sometimes I add MCT Oil.  With or without the oil, the powder mixes easily in my blender bottle.
