Kevin – You’re correct and thanks for posting the links to the 2019 OSP pages.

We don’t have content up yet in the Resources and Handouts section. I’ll check on that.

Thanks for the feedback, nataliedell. The board of directors discussed the race cancellation in our September board meeting. Yes, we plan to send constructive feedback to the race organizers and will include your concerns.

    Hi Amir,

Sorry to hear about the bike issue. I’ve been there with a race approaching. Do you know what size you ride? I have a size 58 Felt B16. We could probably work something out if it might fit you.

Yes and yes! I’m going out to Skyline Drive on Saturday, and there might be a few others joining. The current plan is to start later in the day to let the temperature warm up. I’m starting at noon and will finish about 4:30 PM. Feel free to follow your own training plan and just meet before/after if you’d like. I’ll send you a PM with my contact info.

    Hello DC Tri Club,

My name is Justin Bauer, and I’m seeking your vote to be re-elected to the 2018/2019 Board.

After joining the club in 2011, I learned an incredible amount and have received amazing support from many great members. I believe in giving back, and feel that I have the leadership and abilities to make an impact by serving on the board.

The past four years I’ve served as the club’s Director of Web and Technology. During my last term, I led the club’s website update and conversion to a new platform. There are many improvements still to be done with the website and our online tools, and I look forward to seeing these through to completion.

Thank you for your consideration and vote,
    Justin Bauer

Adam – 8:30? Come on, there’s no time for beauty sleep in Ironman training.

Pablo – Yeah, I’m rolling out at 7am.

I’ll be following the Columbia Tri bike course with a modification that adds a few extra miles and hills from the old sprint tri course.

Luke – My apologies for not seeing your first post from over a month ago.

David – Thanks for chiming in on this too.

There is certainly some value in having the CAPTCHA requirement, but it is not absolutely necessary for the login process. I believe we have another less intrusive option available to us that will serve a similar purpose that the CAPTCHA field does. I’ll work on getting this changed soon.

The mess of HTML code when copying/pasting into the forum is on my list to fix too.

I appreciate the feedback. If things like this are a hurdle for our members to participate on the website, I certainly want to hear about them.

Hi Moma – Sorry for the delayed reply. It has taken me a bit to catch up on some of these items.

The Purchase Passes and Class RSVP pages have been updated so you can now manage these tasks on the club’s site instead of having to go to the TeamUp site. Be sure you’re logged in before trying to access these pages.

To start a new topic, you first have to navigate down to the subforum level where you wish to create a new topic. The fields for creating a new topic are shown under the list of existing topics.

    For example:

    1. Navigate to Forums › Training › Swim
    2. Under the list of existing topics, you’ll see a section titled Create New Topic in “Swim”
    3. Enter a title and content
    4. Click Submit
